It is well known that stress leaves harmful consequences on human health in all aspects of human existence - the physical, mental, behavioral and emotional aspect.
The course "Managing Stress in the Workplace" is designed primarily for organizations and individuals that are employed, particularly managers, as well as every person who wants to learn to manage stress on a personal level.
The course deals with the problem of stress at work on three levels: organizational, management and personal.
Dealing with organizational stress is every day even more important. Employees who are under stress, often have health problems, and they are less motivated and effective. Their organizations can hardly be competitive in the market.
It is up to managers to prevent and manage stress in their work
environment, but a prerequisite for this is an effective stress
management on a personal level.
What is stress, how to manage them, and what methods and techniques could help to overcome everyday stress?
To which extent is stress inevitable, and is it possible to control stress? On these and many other questions we will together find answers through this course. The course consists of three modules:
- Organization in balance
- Manager's impact on stress
- Managing personal stress.
Each module consists of ten lessons, at the end of each lesson there is a case study and action plan. All lessons are interactive and multimedia, containing voice narration, text and visual representation (animated graphic display, photos, web pages related to the content or illustrations in the form of cartoons, so students could easily adopt the new knowledge). There is a plenty of interaction through the course, various tests and guidance for consideration.
